PORTLAND, Maine - The Portland International Jetport today announced that Breeze Airways is adding new, summer seasonal, non-stop service to Akron/Canton and Cincinnati. Service to Akron/Canton will operate on Thursdays and Sundays starting July 2, 2026. Service to Cincinnati will operate on Mondays and Fridays starting July 3, 2026.
“We are thrilled to see Breeze add service to Akron/Canton and Cincinnati” said Paul Bradbury, Airport Director. “Breeze now flies to eleven non-stop destinations out of Portland, the most of any carrier at PWM. We thank Breeze for their continued investment in the Portland, and Maine markets and look forward to welcoming more family and friends from the Midwest starting in July” he continued.
In addition to the non-stop service, Breeze is adding two additional Breeze Thru destinations providing same plane, one stop service to Savannah, GA and Myrtle Beach, SC. The Breeze Thru service to Savannah starts July 1, 2026. The Breeze Thru service to Myrtle Beach, SC starts July 2, 2026.
Today’s announcement adds two new destinations to our non-stop lineup. This is the first time that an airline has provided non-stop service from PWM to Akron/Canton Regional Airport in Northeast, Ohio. Breeze now serves 11 non-stop destinations from PWM, the most of any airline at PWM.
