PORTLAND, Maine - The Portland International Jetport today announced that Southwest Airlines is expanding service at the Jetport adding Saturday only service  to Nashville, Tennessee. The new flights start June 11, 2022.

“We are pleased to see our first new service announcement for summer 2022,” said Paul Bradbury, Airport Director. “Southwest has been a great partner over the past ten years and we are excited to welcome Nashville, their third non-stop destination, out of Portland” he continued.

“As Maine’s Home Airport we are focused on providing the service that our community wants” said Zach Sundquist, Assistant Airport Director. “We are always looking at our top unserved markets and working to find partners to provide non-stop service to those markets. Today’s announcement puts a check next to our number two unserved market” he continued.

The new Nashville service will be in addition to Southwest Airlines existing service to Baltimore/Washington and Chicago Midway.
