PORTLAND, Maine - The Portland International Jetport announced this morning that Markus Donahoe, Lead Airport Operations Supervisor, has earned his Certified Member credential through the American Association of Airport Executives. The Certified Member (CM) credential signifies that the individual has a diverse knowledge of the primary functions of how an airport operates. To successfully attain the CM the candidate must complete a written exam covering four modules, Finance and Administration; Planning, Construction, and Environmental; Airport Operations and Maintenance; Marketing and Community Relations.

The Certified Member designation is the first step in achieving the Accredited Airport Executive (AAE) designation through the American Association of Airport Executives.

Mr. Donahoe is the Lead Airport Operations Supervisor at the Jetport. His day-to-day duties include staffing and supervising the 24-hour airport operations center, maintaining compliance with TSA and FAA regulations, and training new staff on airport policies and procedures.
