Starting June 5, 2021 American Airlines will operate non-stop flights to Miami every Saturday.
Portland, Maine - The Portland International Jetport today announced that United Airlines will expand their Denver service from Weekend service to Daily service starting June 4, 2020. The service will run Daily through September 7, 2020. This expanded service means United Airlines now serves four hub destinations with Daily service. The other hubs are Chicago O’Hare, New York/Newark, and Washington Dulles.
The Portland International Jetport today announced that Southwest Airlines will expand their summer seasonal Saturday Chicago Midway service to Saturday and Sunday service starting June 7, 2020. Additionally Southwest is adding Saturday service to Nashville, Tennessee. The service was announced today with the release of their June 7 - August 10 schedule. This expanded service means Southwest Airlines now serves three non-stop destinations from the Jetport during the summer. Southwest will continue to operate their daily flights to Baltimore.
Portland, Maine - The Portland International Jetport today announced that American Airlines will start Summer seasonal service to Dallas-Ft. Worth, TX starting June 6 ,2020. The service will run on Saturdays through October 3, 2020. American Airlines is the largest airline at the Jetport and today’s announcement opens up the sixth nonstop route joining, Charlotte, Chicago, New York City (LaGuardia), Philadelphia, and Washington D.C.
Portland, Maine - The City of Portland, Maine expects to sell its General Airport Revenue Bonds, Series 2019 (Non-AMT)(Green Bonds) during the week of November 18 to provide funds to refund, on a current basis, all Series 2019 Bonds due on January 1, 2021. The Series 2010 Bonds are callable at any time on or after January 1, 2020. These are the first Airport Designated Green Bonds being issued in the United States.
The Portland International Jetport today announced that Sun Country Airlines will start non-stop service to Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota beginning June 18, 2020. Flights will operate twice a week on Sunday and Thursday.
The Portland International Jetport today announced that S&P Global Ratings has raised their credit rating on the Jetport Revenue Bonds to A- from BBB+.
