PORTLAND, Maine - The Portland International Jetport announced this morning that Southwest Airlines is expanding their weekend only service to Chicago Midway to Daily service for the summer. The expanded service starts June 6, 2021.
PORTLAND, Maine - The Portland International Jetport announced this morning that United Airlines is significantly expanding its route options from the Jetport this summer adding six new non-stop destinations. The new destinations are Cincinnati, Columbus (OH), Cleveland, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, and Pittsburgh. These six new destinations are in addition to the four non-stop destinations already served by United, Chicago, Denver, New York/Newark, Washington Dulles. The new flights start May 27, 2021.
PORTLAND, Maine - The Portland International Jetport announced this morning that Frontier Airlines has added a limited number of non-stop flights to Tampa, Florida. Flights operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from April 13, 2021 - May 11, 2021.
The Portland International Jetport announced this morning that it has been named Best Airport in North America for the 2-5 Million passenger category in Airport Council International’s Airport Service Quality (ASQ) program. This is the fourth consecutive year that the Jetport has won the ASQ award and fifth win in six years. The Jetport previously won in the under 2 Million Passenger category in 2015, 2017, and 2018. In 2019 the Jetport moved into the 2-5 Million passenger category where it won in its first year.
Starting June 5, 2021 American Airlines will operate non-stop flights to Miami every Saturday.
Portland, Maine - The Portland International Jetport today announced that United Airlines will expand their Denver service from Weekend service to Daily service starting June 4, 2020. The service will run Daily through September 7, 2020. This expanded service means United Airlines now serves four hub destinations with Daily service. The other hubs are Chicago O’Hare, New York/Newark, and Washington Dulles.
The Portland International Jetport today announced that Southwest Airlines will expand their summer seasonal Saturday Chicago Midway service to Saturday and Sunday service starting June 7, 2020. Additionally Southwest is adding Saturday service to Nashville, Tennessee. The service was announced today with the release of their June 7 - August 10 schedule. This expanded service means Southwest Airlines now serves three non-stop destinations from the Jetport during the summer. Southwest will continue to operate their daily flights to Baltimore.
